Solutions · Grid infrastructure

Storage the grid can count on.

Dispatch, demand management and stability support, delivered correctly every time they are called for.

The challenge

What gets in the way.

01

Response has to be dependable

Frequency and ramp support only have value if they are delivered every time.

02

Limits are not negotiable

Export, import and ramp rate at the connection point must hold, whatever the market says.

03

Evidence matters

Operators and regulators need records, not assurances.

How Loopgain helps

What you get.

  • Active and reactive power held within the agreed limits
  • Peak demand reduced at the connection point
  • Operating modes that can be proven during commissioning
  • Every command and event written to an audit trail

Common questions

How does battery storage support grid stability?

A battery can change its output in a fraction of a second, so it can absorb or inject power as grid conditions change. Used this way it smooths ramps, supports frequency and helps hold voltage at the connection point.

What is peak shaving?

Peak shaving means discharging a battery during the hours when a site draws the most power, so that demand measured at the connection point stays below a chosen limit. Where demand charges apply, this directly reduces the bill.
