Loopgain EMS. The control room for your plant.

One system to forecast, dispatch and keep a solar, wind or storage plant within its limits.

In one line

Loopgain EMS is an energy management system for solar, wind and battery storage plants. It controls the plant in real time and gives operators one dashboard for generation, storage, grid compliance and alarms.

  • Solar PV, wind, BESS and hybrid plants
  • Real-time control with operator override
  • Primary and standby controllers
  • Role-based access with a full audit trail

Four jobs.
One system.

The dashboard is organised around what plant teams do each day.

Built so a failure is an event, not an outage.

A plant controller has to keep working when a server, a link or a person makes a mistake.

Automatic failover

The standby controller takes over when the primary stops, and the handover is logged.

Role-based access

Operators, engineers, viewers, auditors and security officers each see only their pages.

Audit trail

Every command, setting change and login is recorded with who, when and what.

Loopgain EMS: common questions

How is an EMS different from SCADA?

SCADA collects data and lets an operator send commands. An EMS also decides: it calculates the set-points for the battery and the plant so that schedule, grid limits and battery health are all respected.

Which kinds of plants does Loopgain EMS support?

Loopgain EMS supports solar PV, wind, battery energy storage and hybrid plants that combine them.

What happens if the EMS server fails?

Loopgain EMS runs as a primary and standby pair. If the primary controller stops, the standby takes over and the event is recorded for review.

Who can see and change what in Loopgain EMS?

Access is role-based. Operators, engineers, viewers, auditors and security officers each see only the pages assigned to their role, and every command and setting change is written to the audit trail.
