Lower peaks. More of your own solar.
For factories, campuses and warehouses, a battery is only as useful as the logic that decides when it charges and discharges.
The challenge
What gets in the way.
01
Peak demand drives the bill
A few high-demand intervals set a large part of the monthly charge.
02
Solar is wasted at midday
Generation that the site cannot use at that moment is lost or exported cheaply.
03
No controls team on site
Most facilities do not have storage specialists on the payroll.
How Loopgain helps
What you get.
- Peak shaving that discharges the battery when site demand rises
- Charging from surplus solar and using it later in the day
- A clear dashboard for the facilities team
- Remote monitoring and support from Loopgain engineers
Common questions
What is peak shaving with a battery?
Peak shaving means discharging the battery during the intervals when a site’s demand is highest, so that the maximum demand drawn from the grid, and the charge linked to it, is lower.
Do we need our own engineers to run the system?
No. The EMS runs automatically, the dashboard is designed for facilities teams, and Loopgain provides remote monitoring and support.
